Cohort Development ProgramsCohort programs focus on a specific employee population or job role. These programs usually include multiple-sessions targeted to the knowledge and skills needed for a particular role. They provide a structure for learning and “doing” over time and therefore help build a learning community that serves as a network after the program is completed. Role-based development programs can include content modules blended with on-the-job experiences. Individual development plans are used to take advantage of existing training and learning resources and to encourage continued education.
