  • The MIT Work-Life Center's popular Seminar Series provides research-based strategies and information to help you deal with a diverse range of work-life issues. With more than 25 seminars, workshops, webinars, and support groups to choose from, you're sure to find the topics that matter most to you.

  • It's a new year and time to build new skills. Check out HR's full roster of spring workshops to strengthen your knowledge and skills in communication, networking, managing people and change, goal setting and more.

  • Save These Dates

    Mark your calendars for MIT's 2018 Excellence Awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 13, and the 2018 People Matters Conference on Monday, March 26, 2018. Details coming soon.

  • Beginning in April 2018, all monthly paid MIT faculty, staff, graduate students and fellows will transition to a semimonthly (twice-monthly) pay schedule. See FAQs about this change or plan to attend an information session.

  • The MIT English as a Second Language Program for Service Employees is looking for volunteers to tutor night shift employees for one hour per week or to substitute. No experience is required, just a good command of English and an interest in helping individuals whose first language is not English. Tutoring takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 pm to midnight. This is an opportunity to make a real and positive difference!

  • The Massachusetts Pay Equity Act is a law enacted to ensure equal pay for comparable work for all Massachusetts workers. The Act will go into effect on July 1, 2018.
