  • 2018 Benefits Deductions

Your 2018 benefits deductions start with your first paycheck in 2018:

    • For Weekly Paid employees, 2018 401(k) and FSA deductions start with the January 5th paycheck, and 2018 health and other insurance deductions start with the January 12th paycheck.
    • For Monthly Paid employees, all 2018 benefits deductions start with the January 31st paycheck.
  • The MIT English as a Second Language Program for Service Employees is looking for volunteers to tutor night shift employees for one hour per week or to substitute. No experience is required, just a good command of English and an interest in helping individuals whose first language is not English. Tutoring takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 pm to midnight. This is an opportunity to make a real and positive difference. Contact Nancy Kelly at esl-admins@mit.edu or 781-296-7600.

  • Beginning in April 2018, all monthly paid MIT faculty, staff, graduate students and fellows will transition to a semimonthly (twice-monthly) pay schedule. See FAQs about this change or plan to attend an information session.
