Who We Serve
The MIT Center for Work, Family & Personal Life offers direct services and individualized referrals to students, faculty, staff, and their families. Whether providing assistance with work or family-related matters, or other issues pertaining to life at MIT, the Center for Work, Family & Personal Life supports and celebrates the diversity of backgrounds and experiences within the MIT community.
Operating within the Institute's Human Resources Department, the MIT Center for Work, Family & Personal Life focuses on the needs and interests of a broad range of constituencies - from the MIT community to professionals in universities, corporations, media and government worldwide.
While the Center delivers important services to individuals, our mission goes further. We also focus on the high-level systems and infrastructures that affect the quality of life at MIT, promote best practices in national and international work/life forums, and assist in the development of new policies and services.
