Seminars and Groups

The Center offers a wide range of programs each semester, free of charge, for the benefit of all members of the MIT community, including students, staff, faculty, partners, and families. They include:

Seminars
Noontime workshops by MIT and community experts on a wide range of elder care, parenting, job flexibility, and other work/life topics.

Briefings
Informal sessions that address frequently asked questions about child care issues, including infant/toddler child care, short term/backup child care, and summer camps.

Discussion Groups
Co-sponsored by the Center, groups are organized around a specific issue, such as adoption, parenting toddlers, or expectant/new parenting, providing an opportunity for informal exchange and support.
