Summer Camp Database
The camp information provided in this database has been compiled by the MIT Family Resource Center, the Child Care Resource Center, Inc., and Child Care Search in a collaborative effort to help local families identify summer day camp options. Information was obtained by contacting individual programs, and should be verified to ensure that it is current and correct. The database includes listings of approximately 450 summer programs in the Boston area and extending outward to Route 128 and beyond. The MIT Family Resource Center, the Child Care Resource Center, Inc., and Child Care Search have not screened or evaluated any of these programs, and cannot recommend individual camps. All responsibility for program evaluation and selection rests with parents and guardians. Camps that have received accreditation through the American Camping Association (ACA), New England chapter, are identified as such; for information regarding ACA/New England and ACA accreditation standards, visit their web site at http://www.acane-camps.org.
You may search the database in a variety of ways to identify camps of interest to you: by age groups served; program type; town(s); or keywords. For each search, check only one box for program and one box for town. If you check multiple towns or multiple programs, you will receive results only for camps that serve BOTH towns or offer BOTH types of programs. Note: a search by town will produce a list of all camps in that town, as well as all camps offering transportation from that town.
