Elders
Center staff, in collaboration with colleagues in the MIT Medical Department, the Human Resources Department, and others, offers information and resources on the many financial, medical, and social issues that arise in providing care for elderly family members.
In addition, MIT offers information on the many issues involved in one's own aging. In fact, MIT was named one of 25 "AARP Best Employers for Workers Over 50" by the American Association of Retired Persons in 2003, the only university so honored.
