The Programs at TCC Lincoln Laboratory

TCC Linc hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

INFANTS

Our infant program offers a warm, nurturing, and loving atmosphere, with lots of affectionate physical and verbal contact. The day is relaxed, yet stimulating. Meals and naps are based on each child's needs and planned in close consultation with the parents, and each child has his or her own crib. Regular parent/teacher communication is essential. Our staff members are infant/toddler specialists.

Infant classroom 1:
7 children ages 2 months – 14 months
3 teachers during peak hours

Infant classroom 2:
7 children ages 2 months – 14 months
3 teachers during peak hours

Older infant classroom/Little tots:
7 children ages 8 months – 14 months
3 teachers during peak hours
(NOTE: As these children grow older, this room may become another toddler room with 8-9 children).

TODDLERS

Our toddler programs offer a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for children to play and grow together. Each day is planned to include structured and unstructured activities designed to maximize the children's development, with support and guidance from our professional staff. Diapering and toilet-training facilities are available, and parents are always welcome.

9 toddlers ages 15 months – 1 year 9 months
3 teachers during peak hours

Junior toddler classroom 2:
9 toddlers ages 15 months – 1 year 9 months
3 teachers during peak hours

Senior toddler classroom 1:
9 toddlers ages 1 year 9 months – 3 years
3 teachers during peak hours

Senior toddler classroom 2:
9 toddlers ages 1 year 9 months – 3 years
3 teachers during peak hours

PRESCHOOLERS

Our preschool programs offer a stimulating, safe, and comfortable environment for children to learn as they play. Children are involved in individual and group activities that develop social, emotional, and intellectual skills. Music, art, storybook reading, circle times, games, cooking, exercise, dramatic play, care of animals, and gardening are some of the activities in their daily schedule. Our staff are experienced early childhood education professionals.

Preschool classroom 1:
16 children ages 3 years – 5 years
3 teachers during peak hours

Preschool classroom 2:
16 children ages 3 years – 5 years
3 teachers during peak hours

Preschool classroom 3:
20 children ages 3 years – 5 years
3-4 teachers during peak hours

Note: Many rooms have junior and senior high school students from Minuteman Regional High School, who do a practicum at TCC Linc under the supervision of the teaching team.
