education that is responsive, holistic, and individualized
We offer well-rounded education programs for children aged 8 weeks to 5-6 years. Guided by our skilled and attentive staff, the children explore and learn in safe, comfortable surroundings that inspire intellectual curiosity and invite discovery. Our low teacher turnover and excellent teacher-child ratio ensure that each child experiences the consistent personalized attention and warm relationships that lead to success.
- Each program's curriculum responds to developmental abilities and observed interests; activities include music, art, stories, sensory-motor experiences, make-believe play, care of animals, cooking, and creative projects and games.
- Each of our centers is either accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or working toward accreditation.
- Parents and families stay involved through daily contact with teachers, volunteer activities, semi-annual conferences, and occasional field trips, workshops, and special events.
- We provide a variety of nutritious morning and afternoon snacks. Throughout the day we provide milk and water for children to have with snacks and lunches brought from home.
- All TCC staff have been trained in CPR, safety, and first aid.
- TCC staff members meet weekly to exchange ideas and develop program plans. When the need arises, our staff work closely with early childhood specialists, including speech therapists, physical and occupational therapists, play therapists, and other professionals.
