Among the TCC centers, TCC Eastgate has the longest history—yet continues to provide a lively, inviting learning environment. Our care and education programs emphasize communication and language, respect for other cultures, and warm relationships between teachers, parents, and children.
We are located on the MIT campus in a residential building. Recent renovations have added more space, comfort, efficiency, and beauty to our large indoor facilities and expansive outdoor playground.
Our community represents a range of cultures, professions, and backgrounds. We consider ourselves an extended family, enriched by our diversity. Parents and families often visit the center to participate in storytelling, educational activities, and cultural events. We celebrate holidays that are relevant and meaningful to our community—and the changing seasons also inspire celebrations, including our big harvest festival in the fall, when we go out apple picking and bring the magic of a barnyard into our playground.
TCC Eastgate has achieved the highest quality of services as determined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is NAEYC accredited.
