MIT's Compensation Office works to ensure equitable and competitive compensation programs at the Institute.

The Compensation Office:

  • Administers all Institute compensation programs and ensures that these programs are appropriate, competitive, and efficiently managed.
  • Conducts and participates in a variety of surveys and other information exchanges to keep informed of salary trends in the external market.
  • Manages the annual salary review process and recommends annual salary review allocations and adjustments to established salary ranges.
