MIT's Supplemental 401(k) Plan is intended to be an ERISA 404(c) plan. This means that the Plan provides the opportunity for participants to choose from a broad range of investment options and to exercise control over assets is his/her individual accounts by allowing participants to be responsible for making their own investment decisions. Fiduciaries of the plan may be relieved of liability for any losses which are the direct and necessary result of investment instructions given by such participant or beneficiary.
View or change your investment options through Fidelity Investments NetBenefits website, or call 1-877-MIT SAVE (648-7283) to speak to a Fidelity customer service representative. Representatives are available 8 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday.
MIT expects to continue the Plan as a benefit to employees, but it reserves the right to change or terminate the Plan
